1080p £610 pc build improvements

Hi everyone. I have a pc build here: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/jol159/saved/ and I am wondering if there are cheaper/better parts I could use in my build - I have a budget of £610 and if possible I would like a gtx 1060 in the pc build and Windows 10 64 bit

cheaper than the 1060 but faster than the 1050

What you're asking for is quite impossible... An i5-6400 and 1050 Ti might be the best you can get (other than an i3-6100 and RX 470).

I personally would recommend the i3 6100 with the 470 as @TheRandomness said

GPU performance matters more than the CPU. 

i3 is not the fastest chip but it will be 100% fine for the most games

If he's planning to play BF1 he'll want to get an i5.

I saw the 2tb hdd in someone else's pc build list so I don't know how reliable it will be

Should be fine with the 6100... BF1 is pretty nicely optimized 

yes the i5 would give a few more FPS but I personally played BF1 on a i3 and a rx480 the CPU load was high but everything went nice and smooth

Yup in the new driver I forgot what is it called but it has game optimization and automatic driver updates

Thoshiba should be ok 

i never had one failing 

ok personally I am a WD fan but all my thoshibas are fine to

maybe not the fastest but for mass storage and stuff it will be ok

Have you noticed AMD and Nvidia copy each other's stuff? e.g sli and crossfire, GeForce experience etc
