So... My PC has been making unusual noises occasionally while using it. It makes a low buzz for a few seconds and stops occasionally. Help?

This is very close up, but it gets louder occasionally. It's is not my HDD, since I tested it under 100% load and it was completely silent.

could be just static , my old 650w psu used to have some whine and that traveled into my headset , but only when there was nothing else on it (ie silence)

Sounds like a fan bearing is wearing out or something. Maybe take out fans one by one to see if that's the problem. Also use a tuner like msi afterburner to turn off the fan on your GPU. Don't forget to clean dust out of your pc, as that can also cause noise, especially with a blower style GPU.

Could be coil whine.

right then. I'll take a look at coil whine. It probably isn't my PSU, since I hear it without headsets :P

For the case fans, my PC is about a month old (Built by myself, fans are even newer)

I don't have a GPU, I use the integrated graphics :(

just open the case and wait till you hear the noise , then block a fan to see if its still there , check every fan like that to find out if it is the fans

I doubt this is coil whine, sounds more like a humming noise to me and not really a buzz. Ive experienced psu coil whine, i agree with the other guys its most likely a fan.

can also be a side panel vibrating , if you have unmatched hdd rpms that can cause vibrations
