HD7970 second hand temps

Hello, i bought a HD7970 Sapphire Dual-x second hand.

As soon as i got it i changed the TIM. But with stock settings and stock bios at 925mhz and 1.175v i have max temp 76C in heaven.

Are those temps ok ? When i underclock it to 900mhz and undervolt to 1020v temps never reach higher than 60C.

Temps under 80-85c are OK

personally, I am willing to push my GPU to 90c, but that's just because I'm careless

those temps are fine

76C seems pretty okay. 7970s were not that cool running so it's not all shocking to me.

My Sapphire Dual-X 7970 usually sits around 85 at stock, but one of the fans is broken.

You're all good, mine runs at 1144v 1075cc 1375mc and i've never seen it run hotter than 75C

Undervolt! 1.175V is too high for that frequency. I'm running mine on 1.03V at 1000 MHz.

I am really thankfull for all the replies, this forum rocks because of you guys  Mine is a really bad overclocker and undervolter. I get artefacts even at 950/1425 1.075v.
