All modern GPUs up to the GTX 1080 usually run off a single 8-pin power input.

I would recommend pushing your budget just a little further ahead so you can get a GTX 1070. For just $30-$50 more, you can get a card that's faster than the Maxwell Titan X. The cheapest one I can find is priced at $380, although there are nicer variants for just a little bit more. I believe EVGA's SC GAMING GTX 1070 is just $10 more than that.

Just get a 1070. Get an EVGA or this one, the cheapest [good] card I could find:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500409&cm_re=1070-_-14-500-409-_-Product

ASUS, Zotac, EVGA, PNY/Palit and MSI are all fine. Just don't get a Gigabyte or a Founder's Edition.

Yeah, but a bunch of their GTX 1070s and 1080s have been blowing up. I don't know whether this one (my personal recommendation) is one of those, which is why I linked the cheaper Windforce OC card. @Starelementpoke do you know if the 1070 SC GAMING is affected by the VRM overheating problem?

That's what I was saying. The 1070 is faster than a Titan X and is about $30-$50 more than his budget. The Gigabyte Windforce actually has good reviews when it works, but there are DOA reports on Newegg, so don't get that one.

i've tested the cooler master power calculator, and it recomended a b600. But the geforce website recomended 500W. Do i need a 600W PSU?

PSU calculators are made of bullshit. An XFX TS 550W (Gold or Bronze, doesn't matter) would be good (Also the Seasonic S12ii 520W). If you can't find those, have a tier list:
