Ubiquiti Edge Switch 10gbe

I just noticed that Ubiquiti has released a 10 gigabit 16 port switch. I thought it looked like an interesting somewhat budget friendly solution to going 10 Gigabit. Quick amazon search and it is only $600. For 12 sfp+ port and 4 10 giga Cat ports.

 

Has anyone purchased this switch? I'm curious how it performs compared to some of the 10g Netgear switches.

It preforms fine, but if you want a cheap sfp+ switch look at this.

I haven't managed to get my hands on it yet however I daresay it'll be about the same in terms of performance as the Netgear.

Crappy support, bad phy's which means bad dac support, shitty firmware and apparently bad qc. Most likely no worse then any other cheap consumer switch but with 10g ports.
