So, looking for a decent laptop for messing around in a few games like warthunder, M&B Bannerlord, maybe a few rts's, mild video editing, work with illustrator and photoshop and autocad possibly. I am thinking of either a Barebones kit by Eluktronics or one of their prebuilt ones. Anyone have any experience with the brand, (I've heard good things overall) or can point me towards something better suited to my needs for under $1400. Also what you guys recomend a 15.6" or a 17.3" screen taking weight into consideration.

6700HQ + 1060

6820HK + 1070

It's just a Clevo. All of them are the same and they are fine. Only issue is backlight bleed and bios.

I would say a P650RS or a P670RP6 at the min. Reason cause is the P650RP6 has a different bios from all it's siblings. It's because it's missing some audio thing so it runs a different bios from the P650RS, P670RP6, P670RS.

And grab whichever is cheapest for you LOL. a 6700HQ + 1060 is fine. Then just compare prices and see what you want to self upgrade and take that into the equation.

Well opted for the byo with a 500gb m.2 850 evo and the 16gb gskill ram kit. Loving the troubles with my credit card company atm, they denied it cause apparently newegg has a lot of fraudulent cards go through. Guess they forgot about the crap ton of stuff I have bought in the past, might end up with two free game codes though lol.
