have 1-5-4320 8 gigs ram crappy psu, for 1080 gaming, least expensive option, even used ok

Ok,so I grabbed a very inexpensive second computer instead of building

the specs are from a gateway 4885-UB3a, it has a I-5 4320 and 8 gigs of ram, I know the PSU will need to be changed unless I go for the 1050ti but I am not sure if that is a true value, I have no issue, swapping PSU, will need to make sure the motherboard doesn't have a specialized connector, then again, have no issues having a second PSU next to computer and running the PCI to the graphics card only.  I think I should be able to do this as power is power.  Games are skyrim, little to no mods, and titan fall

Yes, to question and 4430, dam sinuses. I am not sure what GPU to buy, 1050 Ti, 470 4 gig ,480-4 gig or 1060-3gig  or on the cheap end used GFX 660, i see a few of them for $50

do not get a gtx 660.

get a 1050ti, or a rx470 if you want to go cheap . if you want to buy used, look into getting a gtx 960/gtx 970. 

 

gtx 960 = equal to 1050ti 

 

gtx 970 = a little better than rx470, and alot better than gtx 1050ti

You have to quote someone like this if you want them to know you've replied to them.

 

Depends how much of a budget you're on. I'd go with the 1060 if you want the best performance.

Don't go with the 660. It's ancient. You'd likely need to upgrade the PSU.
