Questions regarding Self Encrypting Drives

KuJoe

I have a few netbooks and laptops I want to upgrade with some Samsung 750 Evos because of their built in AES-256 encryption feature and price. Now I've watched the video Linus did on SEDs and am trying to figure out if my devices support them, I contacted he manufacturers and all they have told me is that I can install the SSDs and use them with the devices but none can confirm or deny if the SED feature is supported in the BIOS. I'm assuming any device released in the past few years should support it but is there something I can check to confirm this? Thanks.
