Windows 10 sign in box missing

Have you tried holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse upward? There was a bug where you had to "swipe up" to make the password field appear.

I spend too much on my PC. Then I spend even more on my Sim Rig. Damn, this stuff's expensive.

It's not a "bug" it's a feature like swiping to unlock your phone. You can also "swipe up" by pressing any key on the keyboard.

It's a feature. It allows you to see the lock screen.

 

You're supposed to swipe up (if you have a touchscreen) or start typing anywhere.

What i'm referring to was an actual bug where you had to do the swipe up motion and nothing else would work. I think it's been fixed now, but some people use old versions of Windows.

I spend too much on my PC. Then I spend even more on my Sim Rig. Damn, this stuff's expensive.

fair enough. I don't think i have to swipe up any more though I pay very little attention to the lock screen other than the random picture xD

Thanks for the reply but it seems to have fixed itself for the moment but i shall keep the suggestions in mind incase it happens again. I believe that the new windows 10 update is what caused the issue.
