Is anything covering the fan? Like is your PC on a carpet? Because if the fan is facing down, then it's not able to intake any air.

They shouldn't be hot like its noticeable, but since its not too hot it shouldn't be an issue.

That's because maybe your PSU is in 0 RPM mode, where if the PSU isn't too hot, it doesn't even spin it's fans. if so, then the air isn't moving, meaning that there will be a hot sphere of air around the PSU. nothing to worry about.

Well you cant check it by software..

You need a temperature measuring device for it..

Do you have any? i heard there's no way to measure psu temperature :)  PSU's do not output any temperature data back to the computer, so no such program is even possible. The PSU weill get loud when it is getting too hot so I'd say that is the best bet to see if it is overheating, either that or measuer the temp of the exhaust air.

No RM series are a great PSU.. How hot??

It seems that the PSU is operating nominally, and that charbel1011 doesn't have the experience to determine that by himself.

Im sorry how should i know the temperature of the psu :(? im not really a tech guy

A thermal camera, temperature reader, or temperature probe will work. But, if you can rest your hand on the PSU without burning yourself, you're probably in the clear. If it's something you're really concerned with, you could switch to a Corsair PSU with an 'i' at the end of the name, since they allow you to monitor the temperature in Corsair Link.

It is, but you have a Corsair RMx PSU, which isn't fully integrated with Corsair Link, so you can't use that software to monitor your PSU's temps or power draw/delivery.

The only difference between the RMx (what you and I both have) and an RMi is Corsair Link. It's not really important to have Corsair Link for a PSU, and personally, I wouldn't recommend a Corsair 'i' PSU to newer builders. They just make things a bit more complicated.

What you have is good, and it is working correctly. There isn't any need to worry yet.

I'm talking about a quality mouse. Hell, I got my 402 (same sensor as the 502 iirc, same performance features like Delta Zero) for 40 bucks

The M325 isn't bad, especially for $15-20. The only issue I've ever had with it is that it's a bit too small as a desktop mouse.

The RM650X shouldn't be getting physically uncomfortable to the touch, but I'll bring in @quan289who happens to own one and we'll see if he says his gets too hot to touch comfortably. My guess is that your PSU is either functional but needs room to breathe or the fan system may be disfunctional. The thing has a ridiculous temperature tolerance, however, and my best guess is that you'll be fine.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
