I don't understand what you mean by a car PC. I have a Micro Center branded Win 10 tablet I'm my car. It was $80, has a single full size USB port, and all around works great. But it's not installed in my car, I just keep it there in case I'm some place and need a full computer instead of my Android phone.

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

Tobe fair, thats not a bad idea, you can add a sim card to some of them and a bluetooth keyboard, even and that would be pretty good

maybe a RPi

+1 Raspberry PI, cheap & does Kodi well.

You will need a pass through battery pack & you will need to modify the pi to shutdown on a signal from the ignition wire that is meant for your radio.

Thing is with smart phones and tablets why do people still do car pcs? unless you want to game but then you are going to have power consumption issues unless you stick to Nvidia K1 or the portable version of playstation

@shamus20

I looked into this a couple years ago. There are a few ideas i could toss at you, but my question is simply, what do you want to use this for? With smartphones being what they are and tablets too, as well as cars now that have built in wifi, do you have a plan for all this?
