Charging speed

Hello, 

I'd like to know if I'd damage my devices by using chargers that deliver more wattage than stock ones? 
-Using 65watts MacBook Pro 2011 to charge 2015 MacBook Air 13 that uses 45watts stock charger

-Same thing with My Sony Xperia z2. It takes FOREVER to charge (well, it has 3200mAh, it's understandable), but I'm talking 5 to 6 hours with stock charger.

No, I have a Macbook Pro and I've tried. It'll charge at the same rate as the 45 watt. Unless the firmware is different for Macbook Airs. Basically it charges to what the computer was designed to charge at. I was using the Macbook Air charger on my Macbook Pro and it took a fuck ton of time to charge.
