Help overclock amd 1050t ii x6

As i said i have an amd ii 1050t x6 cpu and i want to overclock it. i have installed a corsair hydro series h60 cooler so i believe i wont have any problems with heating as the current numbers are 26C.

nope, i experiment with it a little and i managed to overclock it from bios but i was sure if i was doing it right.

I used to have one a long time ago, and ran it overclocked to 3.5 GHz from 2.8 GHz stock if I remember correctly. Managed to find my old notes on it at:

Looks like it was a bus overclock (limited multiplier?), and had to reduce other multipliers to keep things in spec.

In more modern systems you can just increase multiplier to get to higher clocks. It looks like on the X6 the multiplier might be fixed, or sometimes they let you reduce it but not increase it. So if you want to overclock, you have to increase the bus speed. If you do that, other things can start to run out of spec and are also overclocked. If you don't want to overclock those other things, then you can also reduce their speed back to normal levels. Those other things may limit before the CPU limits so it is best to do things one at a time anyway.

i wasn't able to do it, my pc is shutting down everytime
