Hi! on my last post, I asked if I could fix my beats studio that has a small problem. People just suggested me to get new headphones, so I'm searching for one and I need your help. What headphones are cheap, comfortable(important) and decent sounding? I found my beats studio a bit too tight, even if I made it loose, it pressed on my jaws a lot so they ended up hurting after around 10 minutes. I want headphones that are comfortable, and I wear glasses, so what over-ear or on-ear headphones do you suggest that is cheap, comfortable and sound decent? Thanks!

My budget isn't really stated but I should say headphones going over 150$ is expensive and I'm not sure if beats are closed or open headphones. I would like them to be comfortable for long use, ones that don't squeeze my jaws as much. For me, I don't listen to a lot of vocal and it's usually a mix of vocal and electronic. Please help me find a good headphone. Thanks!

Budget? Closed or open? What type of sound signature would you like?

The dt770 would be good, it is a closed back headphone, just like the beats.

I use the $40 Skullcandy Grind on the go. There are some of the most comfortable headphones I own (the Philips SHP 9500 is #1). The earpads feel like marshmallows. And the headband is not too tight. I wear glasses too. The sound is pretty good...dare I say decent.

Even the audio guru from Innerfidelity agrees: http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/shredders-be-happy-skullcandys-grind

The Dt770 is not exactly portable. And do you really want to carry an amp around? pshhhhhttt....
