Freesync on Nvidia GPU

it won't create problems, you just wont be able to use the freesync features of the monitor.

Freesync only functions with AMD GPUs yeah but if you put any other inputs then itll act like a normal 144 monitor. I'm pretty sure your paying a premium for the feature you wont use so would look for non free sync monitors myself. But itll work.

Like any other resolution, you might get screen tearing without vsync. But thats all.
