A torrent doesn't necessarily contain only ONE file.  The 746.70 GB one contains multiple video files.

In the simplest terms, yes.

It's the most literal form of drive cloning, usually requiring identical drives to be used (though virtualization could work) and if anything fuck up, you're back to square one

BMB is more of a hardware-level backup that doesn't necessarily rely on software.

F.E.:

I've freshly installed my OS, drivers and software on my PC and I'm paranoid enough (or lazy) that I want to be able to have it in exactly that state when I decide I need to reinstall the OS and not have to go through installing all the software again. I make myself a bare metal back-up copy on a drive that I store securely. When I want an OS refresh, I just restore to the "snapshot" I BMB'd and voila! Now I need to deal with updates again D:
