I'd go for the phantom. Not sure what the price difference is from a new one..

As long as its not super scratched and goofed up I think itll be okay.

When buying a used case, look at the contacts for the I/O such as the power button and USB. Make sure nothing in the case is bent or twisted. The side panels should be flush when attached and flat when laid on the ground.  None of the standoff locations should be stripped. Personally I like the HAF more thanks to the 5.25" bays.

You'll be buying online? I'd go with the NZXT after seeing some of the grime on the HAF.

Most often I find used cases do not come with any of the goodies they arrive with when new- so this might be a turn off to you. (like drive bays or various screws for various thing). As well as a bit dusty, and usually some light scratching and hopefully no serious dilemmas. However that is a pretty good definition of used- so if you're looking there you probably know what you are getting yourself into. With all that said if you can locate a case you like in your area cheaper than you can find it used online then go ham! Just be prepared to locate some fasteners or get ready to jurry rig some components lol.
