Upgrade from 750

toastythomas
Go to solution Solved by Jackttsmg,

I'd suggest a GTX1050 or 1050Ti. These cards start at $109 USD and $139 USD respectively according to Nvidia (This most likely won't be the case when shopping...), they support Simultaneous Multi-Projection, NVIDIA Ansel, G-SYNC and GameStream but they don't have Nvidia's "VR Ready" tag. Hope this helps.

My 19" 1440x900 monitor just broke and right now my current solution is a TV that is less than 900p. Anyways, I am betting on getting a nice 1080p display for Christmas but I know that I will have to get a better GPU. What should I upgrade to? I currently have an EVGA 750 SSC. NOT THE TI. I kinda get triggered because apparently no one knows of the 750. Thanks guys! My budget is like $150 but I'm willing to go to $200.

750 Ti is a straight forward upgrade but how much you willing to spend though?

Budget?

If you want to stay in the same weight class, relatively speaking, the 1050 or 460 would be a good call. If you want to step it up a notch, the 1050 Ti, 1060, 470 or 480 would all work depending upon your budget.

470 or 1050Ti, might find a 1060 3GB or 4GB RX 480 at the $200 mark.

1050 ti would be good for $150, but rx 470 is better at $200.

the new 1050ti is around 100-150 dollars - it outperforms the rx460 which costs about the same - also, watch out for the new amd  rx470D that is somewhere in the mid 100 dollar pricerange too, rumoured to have better performance than the 1050ti and costing about the same

No dude!

1050Ti is better

I would recommend RX470 or RX480 if you can stretch it
