Noob question here - I have an MSI Z170 Krait paired with an i5-6600k and I'm planning to get my second DDR4 Kit from G.Skill before prices suddenly bump up and I'm wondering if it will be compatible. I was looking at the MSI memory support list here and I'm not sure if they support two of the Trident Z 8GB(4GBx2) 3200MHz kit. I was basing my assumption on the check marks on the MSI memory support list where only had 2 checks. I don't know if I'm just reading it wrong since the table they made was not that good because the check marks could be confused with either being 1&2 or 2&4 - they could've added more columns instead. Will two similar kits like this work with XMP and still run at 3200MHz or will they go back to 2133MHz if they don't work? or should I scrap this and save up for a Quad Channel kit instead? Realizing my budget is a lot less, I work my way to "I think these new games will run on a cheap ass CPU."
