"Xbox One Kinect shrinks minimum distance requirement to 4.6 feet"

TopWargamer

Didn't they say this during the E3 expo? I swear I thought I heard Yusaf(or however you spell it) say something about the Kinect being able to work in smaller spaces.

Can't wait to use the new kinect! The first one definitely had some issues but this one sounds like it's going to way more advanced.

Yusaf Medhi. Sounds like the announcer said "use of many" while introducing him at E3.

Thank you @Youbetternot for sending me this article!

Definitely an improvement and I'm glad to see that the new Kinect is shrinking its minimal distance requirement.

They did say "smaller spaces", but they new confirmed what those "smaller spaces" were. Now we know.

at first i didn't understand the title and thought it should be the other way around. But then i realized the space requirement is why my dad said no when my sister wanted to get the kinect for our xbox...well this is good!

I got my brother a kinect last christmas but the room it was in wasn't big enough so I bought the NYKO Zoom thing and it actually worked quite well.
