Hey guys. I am planning on building a hackintosh for video editing&VFX and photo editing(no 3d). I don't care too much for gaming...

I want the hackintosh for FCPX and also adobe premiere pro and after effects.  FCPX should be my main one but I will spend a lot of time in Premiere as well I think if it turns out to be more reliable than it was before...

Can someone help me put together a good part list? That would be really great.

Also, it would be great if someone could tell me about the process of hackintoshing. Like whether I should use clover/multibeast.ect, cause im really confused.

My budget is around 600USD. Max 650USD.

I heard that for final cut pro, AMD GPUs would be better, and for premiere, Nvidia would be better because of CUDA.

If I go with and Nvidia card, does anyone know how to tweak the card/tweak FCPX to use CUDA better for better performance?

Thanks!

As far as i know, you have to go with a NVidia card in order to be compatible with OSX. I also dont think that 10 series nvdia cards are supported currently.

OP, you should review our Community Standards. Discussing piracy and hacking on a general level is fine but providing instructions as to how exactly to go about it, is not. Us on this forum consider the act of installing the Apple OS on non-Apple hardware to be piracy because it goes against Apple's license agreement. So stick to talking about the HW here and find other sources for more info about the software and you'll be just fine!

Also, welcome to the forum and have fun!

Locked

As mentioned above, hackintosh discussions aren't allowed on the forum. BTW, it violates Apple's ToS to run MacOS on anything else than Apple's own hardware.
