Will my rig bottleneck?

Hello i recently bought a GTX 1070 Strix however i can not afford a cpu,mobo,ram ... right now to i'm planning to updrage them later on in blackfriday. will my 1070 work with the cpu(amd phenom 2 x4 955(4 cores)) that i have right now? will there be any bottleneck if so how much? or will the bottleneck damage my new gpu before i'm able to upgrade?

You will have a pretty big bottleneck, it will not damage your PC

- Yes, a tremendous amount...like...really really bad

- No, it will not damage anything...it will just run games like poop with low GPU loads and nowhere near the perf you should be getting.

Yes there will be a bottleneck. An i5 would be good to pair it with the 1070.
