I'm really enjoying this game and I'm getting above 100fps but will dx 12 increase it?

DX12 will not increase performance on Nvidia or AMD GPU's. BF1 was built for DX11.

I doubt you will notice any difference, but what I do know about DX12 on BF1 is that you can't use SLI yet, it only works on DX11, for now.

It doesn't mean you won't see a performance benefit from DX12.

In this case it does, proven by the video I linked. A game built on an old API will be slow to adapt to the new API's benefits/changes.

BF1 was built on DX11, so the improvement is likely small.

 

It'd be like building a V4 and add two V's only to throw away the air intake. [Not really]

I'm watching the video now. I'm surprised by how well some of these cards are running the game, even at 4K, given how amazing it looks.

One of the glitches being holding Ctrl+equipment, dropping my fps to 35~

DX11 or BF1?? I am confused as to how the game in general is related to DX11/12 performance.
