Good medium-end pc?

no, that's not what a I meant

I meant that it was fucking crazy powerful to be considered "mid-range"

I consider my PC high end, and it's only got an i5 and 980ti

Seems fine, but If you get a cheaper SSD and hard drive you can get a 1080.

I already have 2x4gb in my current pc, so didn't want to buy 2x8gb since it's more expensive

Do you mean if the ram is compatible with each other, or the other parts? Because they're the same type of ram.
