Hello I am l looking to build a PC for around $900, I am not really sure where to start though. So from Linus' CPU video I think I settled on the i5 6600K, I am not going to do major content creation just the occasional go pro footage. As far as motherboard goes, I was going to go with the Asus z170-a, not sure if that the best option for this price point or if there is something better. As far as graphics cards go I was leaning towards the GTX 1060, I feel that would be best for 1080p game play. As far as memory goes I was thinking of throwing a 2TB hybrid, unless anyone high advises against that, and 16 GB of ram. I want to go 16 GB of RAM but if I learnt correctly there is not much of a benefit from the increase from 8GB to 16GB, right? For CPU cooling, I was thinking of Cooler Master's Hyper 212 EVO, because I don't think that the CPU I chose comes with a stock cooler. As far as everything else goes I am not sure, and as far as specifics for the graphic card and RAM I am not sure. I am open to any and all suggestion, and the budget is flexible but I'd like to keep it around that ball park.

Snip

Herman has got a pretty decent build there. tough to change much of that, even if you wanted to, without going over budget.
