Depends on your play and grip style. I dont like Razer tho. Too expensive for their  features and  quality.

I'd say G402. From what i've heard most people have to return their Razer Products for repair very frequently. They are overpriced for the quality they offer.

G402 or get accostumed to frequent unwanted shots because of the hair trigger of the razer one.

Also, the sensor and response time is much better on the G402.

You most likely wont use their fusion engine or whatever they are calling it, but the optical sensor is just plain better.

I've heard the return rate on razer deathadders was one of the lowest in the industry and that the impression is that they fail allot because many people own them, so a much smaller percentage of people need to have problems to have a seemingly larger impression on the net than with competing mice.

Although for the price I still think your getting better value with the G402.

i use the g502 and i LOVE it! no problems in over 2 years at all! i have a blackwidow ultimate keybord and it broke after 6 months.

this is all the razer vs logitec experiance i have

so in this case i agree with the 402 logitec is solid so you cant go wrong with them

I would want to see some evidence to it really. Since I have no idea who is right in that.

But this wont change my opinion on the G402. Get that.

I want to get a G502 at some point, maybe when it's on sale.

The Deathadder Elite has a much better sensor than the G402. If you are getting a mouse solely for CS GO and don't require a lot of extra buttons and features, get the Deathadder Elite or the Logitech G403.

It does not have a better sensor, period.

The G403 is great, if you don't need the extra buttons. Also the G402 is 10 USD cheaper. Get that.

How did you decide that? Because of the same reason people consider Zowie mice to have the best sensors or because of something else? Please show me how the AM010 is better than the PMW3389 (aka PWM3366 or PWM3360) the new Deathadder has. I might not be a fan of Razer, but in this case, the sensor is superior than the one in the G402. DA Elite's performance should be compared to the G403 and other PWM3360/3366 mice, but not to the G402.

The G402 actually has a gyro to help the low maximum tracking speed, because without it, it's very possible to make it spin out. This says enough about how better the sensor in the G402 is.

Don't get me wrong, the G402 is the only viable mouse for FPS games with that sensor at this price point, mainly because other mice with the same sensor (G100s, G302) spin out easily.

Firstly it took them what? 4 years until they upgraded the sensor up to par with the G402? Then there is the fusion engine as you mentioned, which makes it pretty impossible to beat. Also the price is lower as I mentioned. Get the G402, it's a better buy.

Even the sensor in the Chroma (S3989) and the one before it (2014 iirc, with S3988) is better performing than the AM010. They are in different price ranges - the G402 was never meant to be a high end mouse, albeit it's very decent for the money, whereas the Deathadder is.
