app for LTT

Hi

is there any forum software I can use for LTT? I really do not like use website in my android phone for the LTT.

you can use tapatalk, but imo the mobile site works fine.

Tapatalk is no longer supported by LTT, it was causing too many issues with the forum, also they have stolen content from other forums and promoted it as their own.

Developing app for forums would be too expensive for the pros it brings over mobile site.

What happen if we just asking people if they want make a app for the forum, may be this site can give some profit for the programer when they make a app and you guys get money from the ad in the app. Or may be a kickstar project, I bet a lot of people will love it. At least you can make a poll about how many people in this site want  have a offical app

The thing with official app is that it needs to have continuous support. As in full or part-time dev. Another thing would be need for support on all three major mobile platforms. I don't know much about coding, but I know having qualifications for just two of those isn't common. Third thing would be that when it's done, it will be done properly. So not like paying some under minimum wage fee for a half-talented fan.

 

Fundraiser might be possible, but even then its done within current system. Having Kickstarter or rather someway failing it would hurt their image. And make rather funny episode on Kickfarted. Plus I think they would have much more interesting ideas on how to spend such moneys.
