I wouldn't get it as it's from a no-name brand, probably from China. Since its also from ebay, there won't be warranty on it, so if it explodes, you're gonna pay for it.

mainly because I never heard a brand like that in the states. You can buy it if you want honestly.

If it isn't on 80plus.org, I wouldn't touch it.

The brand is a nothing brand (That is the 1st back away point), it only has a one year warranty (So they don't trust it to last), it isn't on 80plus.org (Red flags everywhere), it is sold on ebay (More flags going)

Use it, and put it under full load. If it explodes, you know it's unsafe. Otherwise, you're good for now.

There are power supply testers available on the internet as well, but they just check voltage, and don't actually stress the PSU.

Not a desktop, but still completely relevant: http://gizmodo.com/235321/dell-laptop-burns-mans-house-down-not-batterys-fault
Please note that I'm not trying to pick on Dell here; in fact, since Michael Dell took the company private again in 2012, I've been very happy with their products. Just trying to show you that electricity can be dangerous if faulty.

The Corsair CX 500 should be fine

But the CX 450M is a lot better and is modular,so it would get it.
