reset button

dumb question but what exactly does the reset button do? idk why i forced myself to put it on when i was building my system cause i didn't think i needed it.

Reset? On what? You mean restart?

Force reboots the system. Not really needed and you can do the same thing if you hold the shutdown button for 10 sec.

It sends a reset signal to the CPU, causing it to go back to a startup state.

 

You probably don't need it.
