Fix my sound?

Hey i just got some M50x's and everything sounds echo-y... whether its a local file, youtube, etc. it sounds terrible. how do i fix it?

yeah its just the on-board sound through a headphone jack.. my speakers are hooked up to the same thing and work fine.

Did you check the manufacturer's website for any other drivers?

What kind of sound solution are you using? 

If there's any 3D, virtual surround or room correcting feature you could try turning it off.

Also, where did you get them from? Was the seller reliable? It might be a problem with the headset itself.

yeah its just a normal headphone though. they don't have downloads.

odd. I turned ON the virtual 7.1 surround and it sounds perfect now. odd!
