Hi!

I'm very interested into how processors are working, I already saw things about how they're adding numbers with logic gates, but I know they are doing way more things than that, so I was wondering: where could I find a good place where everything is explained about everything in a processor?

I wanna know how each component works, what they're doing, what's the difference between this processor and that one (by looking inside of it), and on...

Do someone know a good place to learn all that kind of stuff?

I don't think Wikipedia is explaining all logic circuits in depth ^^

I don't think we can explain all logic circuits in depth on a forum either

but it's basically a bunch of logical elements hooked up together to form complex units and then the electricity flows into one end and flows out the other end - depending on which end it flowed out of you get different colors of pixel on your monitor

CPU: Intel i7 5820K @ 4.20 GHz | MotherboardMSI X99S SLI PLUS | RAM: Corsair LPX 16GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz | GPU: Sapphire R9 Fury (x2 CrossFire)
Storage: Samsung 950Pro 512GB // OCZ Vector150 240GB // Seagate 1TB | PSU: Seasonic 1050 Snow Silent | Case: NZXT H440 | Cooling: Nepton 240M
FireStrike // Extreme // Ultra // 8K // 16K

That's an oversimplification of what's occurring. During 3D games for example, the GPU is actually working with 3D models, but has to turn that into something that a monitor can output, which is 2D.

You started off good, but... That isn't how it works.

The CPU uses logic gates to perform mathematical instructions. The GPU (All computers have a GPU, just not all have discrete ones) takes this information and uses even more logic gates to turn this into a set of instructions or an analogue signal which your monitor can understand, and you see as a complete image or text.

Think about how many calculations are going on in your CPU and GPU to render a 3D game. Everything from lighting, textures, movement, shapes.
