Guys im planning to buy a 27" monitor. Here in my country displays are really not cheap, a brand new XL2730z is $610 a used one is $455. I kinda like because it has free sync. But their is also a sale of a bnew XL2720z for $415.

Is gsync really or free sync really that necessary? Should i go for the $415 one?

Necessary? Hell no. Nice to have? Yes.

It's like having a 144Hz monitor or an IPS display. Is it a necessity? God no. But it does indeed make a very noticeable (and beautiful) difference. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.
