Would I be able to revert to before the update, or would it still be corrupted?

if you have a system restore point then i think you will be fine

My PC updated last night while I was asleep.

I woke up and turned it on, BSOD.

Turned it back on, and I got this message when it booted:

"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCP120.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f."

This error also now comes up when I open GeForce Experience and any images on my PC. Can someone please explain what's happening and/or help me resolve it?

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: I've restored it to the previous Windows build, and it saved all my stuff. Problem solved. Thanks all who replied.

Try running sfc through cmd prompt.

To do this in command prompt type

sfc scannow

EDIT- if you can't boot into windows, plug in install media, click repair, then advanced, then cmd prompt.

I can boot into Windows. It's running right now.

I'll get back to you when it finishes the scan with results.
