Looking for a new laptop it use all of its cpu while play an 64 bit game

 

what is the best to use for a moderate gamer 

 

my  laptop has 2 cores I am looking for a 4 core

Do you want max performance or max portability?

buy the best laptop that has at least a 960 or 970 m within your budget, then run games with direct x12 or vulkan to take advantage of all the cores in ur cpu instead of just 1

Dx12 doesn't affect whether or not the cores are used it is up to the devs, most games already will use 4 threads.

 

Really need a budget though, You can get a 4k display and SLI 1080s in a laptop if you have the money.

didn't linus make a video about how the dx12 and vulkan improve utilization of the cores in a cpu compared to older versions

My cpu has 2 cores and I use them all.
