They say one shouldn't go over 24 inch for 1080p because when you do it loses pixel density.

I really would have to disagree, I have a 27 inch 1080p display and it looks fantastic. If you wanna take a look at it its here(not the best, but works just fine): https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Simple-27-Inch-Monitor-Finish/dp/B00IEZGY7G?th=1

I work get a benQ monitor, those are quite good

Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!”

Here's the only 1080p IPS panel I can find above 60Hz, LG 27MP58VQ-P 27. If you don't mind 60 though then here's a few ordered from most popular to least. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100160979 4814 8000 600012673 600107132 600255029 600030957 600987767 601190102&IsNodeId=1&LeftPriceRange=0 300&bop=And&Order=RATING&PageSize=36

Feel like giving an option way under budget, if not something you would buy just to give you something to compare to. I've been useing this monitor for over a year now and it works great, its about as big as you can get without 1080p pixilation becomeing an issue, good response time (haven't experienced any ghosting with games) As for color accuracy I don't have much to compare it to, but it looks very good to me.

Not the most amazing, but for $130, its very decent.
