Help me!!! I accidentally downloaded this one software and it took over my computer. It showed a dirty picture and said that Microsoft has detected an attack. I shut it off and I'm panicking! What should I do?

Run tron script you can find it I. Reddit and run that. It will pretty much nuke your computer for any malicious software on your computer

boot up in safe mode and run scans ( anti virus and malware ) disconnect from the internet first.

open the msconfig box and see what's running in start up and services.

turn your pc on, and spam F8, then when you get into the advanced boot menu, select safe boot

Not working boosts normally and virus starts up and I can't do anything.

f8 doesn't work for windows 10, you have to go into recovery options/advanced etc etc.

I can't get into windows to go to safe mode, that's the problem.

you dont need to get into windows to get into safe mode, you press the power button the pc, and the second after that you start pressing f8

That's what I'm doing it's not going into safe mode it just goes into the loading screen

then write your paper by hand and set the computer aside until you can devote time to it.

I ran a full scan in safe mode and it said there was nothing wrong. I'm nervous because the PC updated even though I just updated it a few days ago. I'm worried that it got into the windows file system by doing a fake update.
