Hello guys/girls.

I'm new here and i came for help if that's ok.

I've been following LTT for a long time but never actually came here on the forum to see what's going on.

So anyway, i bought a new PC and it has an i5 6600, r9 270x and 8gb of ram with the psu LC Power 600w.

Now i gotta problem with the psu- the PC just turned off yesterday completely, and i was looking on the other internet pages everyone are saying it's really crap.

So i want to ask someone here what should i do? is it really that bad? and keep in mind i got this build brand new 3 weeks ago.

Any suggestion would be really appreciated.

Actually i consult about the psu and they recommended that one...

If it's the people from Bestbuy, they're idiots. Get something from Seasonic and you'll be fine.

Oh sorry, Eastern Europe, Serbia

That 71 USD, however there's still more inflation due to import taxes and fun stuff like that. If you could find a Corsair CX550M that would probably work.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Over there Seasonic, SF, and nice Antecs are generally easier to find than decent Corsairs, so those are what I'd look for.

Can you provide a link to any store you are buying from?

Your setup can be powered on a quality 400w. Within that price point, you could get something like the Corsair Vengeance 400w / CX450M, Antec VPF450, Cooler Master G450M, Fractal Design Integra M 450w, etc.

The Antec VPF450 (not the VP450F) is a good, budget unit made by Delta with DC-DC.

You may be able to get the Corsair Vengeance 400w / 550w for around that price point as well. If you can find one, I would get that.

This isn't from the site you had listed, but I found a site that you may be able to buy from. It's from a store called PC Komponent in the city Subotica, Serbia.

http://www.kupujemprodajem.com/CORSAIR-CX-Series-CX650M-34822335-oglas.htm

If you scroll down to the list of PSUs, the Corsair Vengeance 650M is available for 74€. It's pretty much the same PSU as the more expensive CX650M listed, but with better caps selection and is a multi-rail unit.

Using google translate: "Zbog variranja cena na tržištu, porethodno uvek proverite cenu porukom ili pozivom". You may be able to save a little more money by contacting them and see if you can get the lower wattage 400w or 550w model.
