slow loading webpages

hi all

this morning on my win7 gaming pc, SKY broadband uk , while trying to surf the net and read linus tech tips I had browser problems. I,m using IE 11 windows browser and it was fine yesterday no updates or hardware changes since, web pages have been taking about 30 seconds to fully load which u can imagine is getting frustrating. Now I have run CC cleaner and tried disabling IPv6 on NIC but no change , I will try setting a different DNS server next and let you know. my question is did anybody else wake up and find they had an web issue this morning or am I on my own(other isp users in uk comment also)

But, i would just try leaving it, Your area may be undergoing maintenance?

Have you tested your current bandwidth?  (like speedtest.net or testmy.net)

Does your ISP limit download bandwidth if you reach a limit?

would you believe it, just after typing this.... my web pages are loading fast dns server list popped up 2 secs , other random pages the same....gggrrr. that realy bugs me .... for the last two hrs crappy surfing then fine. I know what ur gonna say isp throttling or home router choking.. but I will never know.....close post admin

yes tx guys forgot mention I did try internet speedtests and only got one to half run, I tried three test first two would run run and errorred the last I got a 17ms ping to a Sevenoaks server a 1.7Mbps down and failed upload(1/2 test)

probably maintenance , they don't tell you lines are down etc.
