Could a subwoofer damage a PC?

I have a 2.1 sound system, the subwoofer sits under my desk, right next to my PC, is it bad for the PC? I just hear my whole case shake when it's on. Just wondering.

Nope. Mine's forcing doors to move, but the pc is fine.

The only problem i can think of is the HDD writing arm. If you have no moving parts in your PC you are probably fine though

Only if you throw the subwoofer at the pc repeatedly.

seriously though, as others have said, the HDDs are the only sensitive part. either get ones equipped for vibrations, or go completely solid state, or just put a NAS in a different room

I bump mine pretty hard and my case doesnt shake (h440 ftw) but it makes the floor board downstairs move and I haven't had any damage yet! I mean if you have a 18inch sub at like 10hz u maybe have issues but u will be fine with any system connected to a computer ahah!

Not unless its really powerful and aimed directly towards drives.
