No, GPU technology is still moving so fast that videos from even two years ago are basically irrelevant

That would have been great for the R9 300 series and GTX 900 series, but for the RX 400 and GTX 1000, the 1000 series are all higher end than the RX 400 series

What does this video cover?  It might not be necessary... basically if you want RX480 power or less, go with your favourite company.  If you want more, go nvidia (or buy used)

What triggers me is that G-sync monitors are much more expensive than Freesync monitors.

You must have used at least one before?  Most people have at least 1 horror story to tell from one of them or the other... ;)

I have never used an AMD GPU in my whole life, Nvidia and Intel graphics are probably the only ones that I have tried and it's safe to say that Intel graphics suck. xD

Don't waste money on another 1080p monitor when you already have one.   Completely insane.
