200 euro quadcopter for photo/video

Guest

so I was looking at some DJI phantoms, specifically the 2 vision +. but i wanted to know if there was anything better, or if it was even worth it.

what i am looking for is a long range, good quality and video streaming, with gps. i really like the home feature, just for safety. would this quadcopter be worth it?

If you can spend up to the Phantom 3 Standard, I think you would be much more satisfied that a phantom 2. As far as prebuilt aerial photography/videography aircrafts go, DJI is the best in the business.

My So You Want A Drone Guide may be helpful, but the phantom 2 vision + should be a pretty good aircraft.

DJI has gotten really good at making cameras. I don't know how good the phantom 2 vision + is, but I know the phantom 3s, the 4, the inspire, and the mavic have really good cameras.

But i have heard that there are no more firmware updates available for it, does this have bad consequences?

Not sure. If you can, go for a phantom 3, but a phantom 2 should be pretty good.

Do you have experience flying multirotors before? Even something like a little Hubsan?

Oh nice. You're on the right track.

You fly anything larger FPV? A 250 of some kind?

No, but I could imagine that a DJI would be much much easier to fly than a hubsan FPV right?

probably. I know the throttle is more like an altitude lever than a throttle.
