I've only played 2033, and I personally hated it. I just couldn't get into it, and it was constantly pissing me off. I want to play Last Light, just to beat it, but I can't bring myself to start playing.

Just looked further down the page and you can get both for $7.49 so I guess I can do that instead.

But please still do leave your opinions

Yes get both.  They're both great games and the story is really interesting I think.

Pretty sure there are some slightly tricky parts in both but overall they're not overly difficult.  Definitely worth $7.49.

I haven't played the Redux versions, but both original games are quite good.  It's nice to play a story driven FPS that does it's shooting mechanics well, especially since both Metro games are corridor shooters.  Very focused level design is good when done correctly, especially with the second game.  Hell, I'd even approve of 4A being given the reigns to make Half-Life 3.
