I faster way to toggle default display/audio device?

I just upgraded stereo equipment. I keep my PC plugged into my AVR via HDMI, before the upgrade I could just switch to the right input and bam my computer would switch default display and audio device to HDMI. With my new AVR just it being on makes the computer switch to HDMI out for video/audio. Is there a way i can make some sort of shortcut that will switch both devices back and forth without going through audio settings and display settings?
