Should i get a GC?

here is my current build (1st build)

i5 6600k

asus z170-a

16gb hyperx fury

650w evga bronze

samsung c390 monitor (1080p)

 

right now i am using the mb integrated video, i don't plan on really gaming, but i want better quality for watching videos and so forth and some video editing  

 

since the mb can carry 1080p anyway, since i have this monitor would i benefit at all with an aftermarket video card? thank u

A GC won't help that much with editing it's your CPU that will help...and since you have a good one just get a cheap 750 ti

would i be able to see any quality difference as far as on windows and videos? or would it be just mainly the monitor

It wouldn't be necessary for what you are doing.

Graphics card wont help video playback.

 

Videos is simply streaming data off your hdd/ssd to the ram, use some cpu power to decompress said video, then output it via hdmi.
