Microphone Recommendations

Looking for a microphone that wont pickup every key click I make. I bought a blue snowball ice but I'm really disappointed with it and going to return it. I just want to talk to friends when I play games and my budget is around 1$-150$

Also you might want to invest in o-rings on your keyboard and a decent pop filter

Those are cardioid condensers just like the snowball ICE.

They will pick up the same amount of background noise, if not more.

 

To have less background noise you need to move the mic closer to your mouth and turn down the gain, or use a headset mic which is right beside your mouth.

I have the samson meteorite and it sounds amazing, but a good thing to do is get an arm stand and pop filter to get it away from the keyboard, then turn down the volume it records at. If all else fails a membrane keyboard is very quiet. I use a microsoft basic wireless (I don't remember the name) and it is so much quieter than my mechanical keyboard.

A lavalir mic seems to fit the bill here. The ModMic is also a good option.
