I recently build my first system.

now windows 10 freezes randomly.

my pc specs are as follows:

Motherboard: gigabyte z97p-d3

BIOS version: F8 (latest as far as i can tell)

CPU: intel core i5 4460 3.20ghz

GPU: gigabyte gtx 1070 g1 gaming

Ram: 2x4GB Kingston HyperX FURY DDR3

Wireless network card: ASUS PCE-AC68

PSU: corsair cx750m 750w

things i have tried:

  • running memtest (ram is fine on 8-9hour test)
  • clean install windows (multiple times)
  • running dskchk /r (returned no errors)
  • running netsh winsock reset

there are errors in the eventviewer, but my system is in danish so you guys can't use them for anything.

i put the error log up in a file as dexxterlab97 suggested. (it's in danish)

errors.evtx

at the longest it ran 12 hours.

Any help is appreciated!

i wrote with some people in MS community but they haven't responded in 3 days now, so i hope you guys will.

Windows 10 comes with a built in support line. Type Support in the search box. They're not the dumb ones in my experience.

If your computer just freezes then it's a driver error. One of your hardware components writes an instruction that loops indefinitely. I used to get this most often with graphics drivers. You need to figure out which item is acting up and update or replace it.
