What is this connector for?

Go to solution Solved by mariushm,

Empty places to install wireless antennas . some motherboards come with a miniPCIe slot or similar connectors, so you can install tiny wireless card close to the back of the motherboard and mount the antennas there.

So what are these 2 connectors for.... Wifi? I am so dumb, I researched and I dont know what these connectors are called....

Here's an example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320293

You can detach the antenna connectors from the metal bracket and just the same, you can detach the miniPCIe card from the bigger PCIe card and reconnect it to a miniPCIe slot on a motherboard.

Anyway, it even says in the manual that they're antenna connectors, but I don't see any special connector in a special location to make the location of those holes special. My guess is that the guys that designed the motherboard thought someone would plug a card into the pci-e x1 slot above the video card slot.
