Dual Boot or Windows?

I've had some trouble deciding whether to switch back to Windows or keep my Dual-boot setup with Linux and Windows because I'm a gamer and I have Overwatch on the Windows part but most games are one steam, steam is on Linux, and most games are compatible.

If you're okay with dual booting, then just keep dual booting.

Dual booting with windows and linux on the same drive can cause issues.

Why do you even need linux? What are you trying to run that doesn't work on windows? ROS or something?

It's always good to dual-boot in case something breaks. Unless you're using Windows 10 and 98...

You do realize that every browser, ISP, and websites tracks you, right? Windows 10 is the only one you hear about but Google has been doing it since... pretty much day one.

Yeah, it's about the same as the terms and conditions of anything else.

Your browser, your search engine, your ISP, your phone, everything collects the same data.

Not to mention pretty much every store, bank, gas station, public building, traffic camera, etc...  And of course there's the GPS on your phone - that can be used to track you as well.

And unfortunately, that includes people that you're supposed to trust, like your mother or father. Sometimes you have to tell them that they're wrong.

Actually, if you tell them that while they're mad, it could make it worse. Just saying.

Actually, I would say it's more practical as you don't have to reboot your compter to load the other operating system. Just do your "secret 12-yr old stuff" on Linux and play your games on Windows.

Oh yeah, I try to keep discussions calm. I have no desire to piss people off that I care about, and if they are indeed angry at you, telling them something like that could make it worse.

Actually, I would say it's more practical as you don't have to reboot your compter to load the other operating system. Just do your "secret 12-yr old stuff" on Linus and play your games on Windows.
