Hi LTT.

I'm going to start working in a new place in a couple of weeks and I my new boss was asking me what phone I would like to get.

So I was hoping some of you guys or gals could give me some pointers to what to choose.

What I need from the phone is this:

The Camera needs to be good at taking pictures of floor plans or electrical drawings, and have the best possible image stabilizer, since some pictures are taken at obscure angles where my face can't get to :)

A battery that hold a whole day, with the use of 'hotspot' for data sharing.

The price range is about 3-400$

Was thinking about the OnePlus 3, but i'm not sure how good the image stabilizer is, or if my new boss is going to order the new phone online, or just going to nearest electronic store for it.

Hope you can help me out.

Thanks you.

Danny B.

this puppy is amazing, it has samsung s6 quality but at a cheaper price - granted it doesn't look as sleek but the specs are pretty much the same. I have one and with my hotspot on transmitting data all day long, i can get about 7 hours of use out of it, if you could get a battery pack, you'd have 14 hours of use

Samsung Note 4 or 5. The larger screen and S-Pen will let you take notes accurately which is important if you're in the field. Granted I'm a veterinarian and, unless I have an assistant to take notes with picture numbers, the phone allows my notes to be applied onto the photos.

That or an Axon 7 are your best options. Personally I ordered an Axon 7 last night since the OP3 doesn't support Verizon but they're both very good phones.

I'm going to add it as a 3. priority. :) Thanks

Any reason for not choosing the newer P9 (not lite)?

Or is it from personal experience you are recommending the P8? :)

Seems like an interesting choice. Does'nt the screen feel a bit big?

I'm having a 5,2 inch phone for private use and I have trouble reaching the top corners with one hand. Or is the Samsung Note series a 2 handed phone? :)

I have average hands and I sometimes have trouble reaching buttons at the top-right corner but I'm also a lefty and the important stuff is on the left... usually. But I end up using the S-Pen for most clicking or searching since it's more accurate and only use two hands when I need to type.

This guide should help you out with almost every feature that the phone has.

I've placed my S-pen setting on memo.

My work requires security so I use the fingerprint scanner, and a code when I'm wearing gloves, to hide files and videos.

the p8 is just cheaper. The newer p9 is above your budget, but i guess your boss would pay anyways. Just buy the p9, i got it while i was in china and it is amazing. s7 like quality. but on the "cheap"

Lefty here too :D

Those one-handed settings seems to make it a lot more manageable.

Just to be sure, can you use the pen to put note's directly on pictures?

Have put the P9 in as a 2. priority (not that it really matters here :))

Thanks for your input :)
