More fans on a heatsink?

I will be changing cases from a NZXT Phantom 240 to a NZXT s340 Razer Edition which came with 2 more fans so I have an excess of fans right now so I want to know if it's a good idea to put a second fan on my heatsink. My heatsink is an Arctic Freezer i30 and it does a decent job but my cpu gets up to ~75 C which isn't awful but would it make a massive difference to attach a second fan to the front to push air through (by using a splitter to attach it to one cpu fan header)?

It can make a difference and since you've said you'll already have all the fans, why not give it a try eh? :P

do it, it will be atleast slightly better

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Cant make it any worse, its at least worth a try. 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

He can, but that would be indeed crazy if he let them blow both towards eachother :)

Second fan isn't going to make temps much lower. I don't how big difference is with smaller (120mm and under) heatsinks. With 140mm cooler difference was about 5C. 2nd fan helps to keep temps at same level while fans run at lower speed.
